Konnichiwa Minna

Well this weekend with my boyfriend to the usual theater (and part homework hehe). Making me hate myself for not going to the theaters as frequently as a should, Wreck-It Ralph and Rise of the Guardians were two movies I've been wanting to see for a long time now and ended up really loving them.
At first, Wreck-It Ralph didn't seem like a must-see movie, just trying to promote the old games and Sonic video games or whatever, I thought. But after a friend told me he almost cried at a point and ended up loving it (and that's really rare reaction of him) I had a doubtful feeling about it. Now I see why he loved it so much (even my boyfriend almost cried), wouldn't expect that from a Disney movie. Lots of nostalgic games and emotions that go through one's mind in seeing this movie, I guess it had its success from that.
Favorite character: Vanellope von Schweetz and Jean Calhoun (she got a gun under her wedding dress...)
Fav design: Sugar Rush characters (even though a little to colorful and girlish for my taste)
Fav scene(s): Ralph in Hero's Duty, Nesquik Sand, finding Felix in jail, Ralph falling onto Mentos Mountain (Epic.)
I would expect Rise of the Guardians to be fantastical as it was shown, and it was especially when Jack Frost did all of his little tricks and when he flew at high speed. This one followed more of a children's view of how a fantastic world would be while also setting the bigger picture of dreams and fear. The only thing I didn't like is how they demonstrated that the children were easily giving up in believing in the Guardians (but simple plot, simple development, simple conclusion). Overall I think the designs and the animation were incredible X3
Favorite character: Sandman (for being a whimsical badass), Jack Frost (his playful adventurous nature),
Fav design: Bunnymund, Tooth (and baby tooths), and Sophie (cuz she's simply adorable)
Fav scene(s): Flying scenes, Sandman being badass with his sand-ropes, when Pitch makes Sandman disappear,
